Peracetic Acid 

Peracetic acid is an organic acid compound consisting of Acetic Acid and Hydrogen Peroxide. It is commonly used in the area for the washing of fruits and vegetables, and can also be used for the sanitation of water and waste water.

Benefits of Peracetic Acid

  • Does a very good job at cleaning fruit and water;

  • By-products are acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide, which are not harmful

  • Can be used in similar systems to Sodium Hypochlorite (Chlorine), meaning the two are interchangeable without costly system upgrades.
